Work Objective:
Design poster for Get Lit Festival in Spokane, WA.

Concept:
Books have a strong effect on your mind. Your imagination fills in the visuals which personalizes the story. In this poster, a boy is walking away from a book while his visualization of the story floats above. His mind has produced a dark fantasy world with no color. Even the sun is a sphere of onyx, dropping behind the city. This work is my expression of the power of literature.
Process:
Here is the rough draft that led to the final poster. At first I intended to do a collage of different objects but it turned into something quite different.
